Hi cristescu,
As you know, about a 30% of The Netherlands is below sea level, and a very efficient dyke system keeps the tides under control. However, a rise of several cms in sea leveal can be a big disaster for the country. In the Netherlands they are aware of the meaning of floodings (a dyke broke in the 90’s). And they are trying to prepare for a warmer world. But, in any case, fighting nature is not a great option. Nature wins always.
