Well, I already had to leave my country to do this job. I’m from Italy, but I moved to the UK to study for my masters and then again to do a PhD.
Yes, I would still move somewhere else to do this job and I like travelling to other countries for fieldwork, conferences, collaborations…but maybe not daily. Even weekly sounds a bit too intense, especially bewteen different continents. Travelling can also be quite tiring, especially if you’re not on holiday!
But I like travelling for work every now and then…maybe every 2 or 3 months is a good balance?
