I’m not sure we will be able to turn climate change to our advantage, especially because a lot of the consequences might be completely unexpected.
However, many countries are planning mitigation and adaptation strategies to help them cope with these changes.
One of the possible “advantages” is the fact that ice melt due to global warming will open new shipping routes in the Arctic. Ships will be able to go through some of these regions and reduce the length of their journeys.
Another one is that some countries will experience milder climates and perhaps increase their agricultural production thanks to longer growing seasons.
Unfortunately, I think that the list of disadvantages is much longer than the list of advantages!
