Hi!
I’m not an expert, but as far as I know whales are among the animals with the longest lives. Some of them can live up to 100 years or even longer.
There are many species of whales which live in different regions, so the lifespan is quite variable between species.
The species with the longest lives should be humpback whales. I’ve seen these in Hawaii and they are spectacular! I’ve also seen some smaller ones from a different species (pilot whales) in the North Atlantic and these are much smaller and look a bit like dolphins. These don’t normally live as long as the humpback whales, their lifespan is between 45 and 60 years.
