Hi teodoratudoran28,
What a pity you didn’t ask for earthquakes! 😉
But don’t forget – earthquakes do not only threaten us with trembling earth. Earthquakes and fault movements under the sea can produce very large and dangerous tsunamis, like the one in the Indian Ocean ten years ago or in Japan some few years ago.
You asked for the Ring of Fire earlier, you remember? That’s where plate tectonics affects us besides earthquakes: with volcanoes!
All the best,
Andi

And not only in that!
First of all, it is true that Plate Tectonics produces hazards as earthquakes and volcanoes. But Tectonics are responsible to for the building of the mountains, great landscapes at the same time that great geographical barriers. Or fault movements. Check this blog to see how the movement of the Saint andreas fault produces changes in roads, fences…

Contrary, Tectonics responsible for the bulk of ore resources on Earth (gold, silver, copper…) So let’s assume that we are chatting in the internet thank to Tectonics 🙂
