A scientist and an artist. Iโve achieved both, I am a scientist and also paint, practice professional photography and write. ๐ What would you like to become?
Hi kasia1g, thatโs a fun question! I remember watching one of the Indian Jones movies for the first time when I was about 8 or 9 years old. After seeing how cool Indy was and the crazy stunts he pulled, I really wanted to become an archaeologist. But being a kid I donโt know that the movie exaggerated the roles of an archaeologists just a little bit ๐
When I was about 10 I wanted to be an oceanographer, then that sort of morphed into wanting to be a palaeoclimatologist at 13 and then a geophysicist around 16/17. I also really liked archaeology โ but mostly the fieldwork side of it, not the historical side so much!
I think that I wanted to be a writer, engineer, and astronaut. I wanted to be many things and was not sure what I wanted to do. It was not until third year in university that I decided to be a geologist. Sometimes it takes a lot of time to find out what you really want to do.
I wanted to be an archaeologist or a butcher (I liked the raw meat).
Now I am a vegetarian for more then 10 years and I am doing science. Life is crazy!
