There are so many landforms, from mountains, valleys, glacier moraines, cirques, dunes, etc. Beautiful and interesting landforms are what draw many of us to study the earth. It happened to me, as I wanted to understand how mountains formed.
Landforms are natural features of the landscape or natural physical features of the earth’s surface. And Daniel is right, there are so many great ones there are just too many to list (and not forget anything). Here is a pretty complete list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_landforms

the different types of landforms are all the different ways our planet manifests itself in front of us, like mountains, valleys, flat countryside, dunes, etc. We should all take the list that Jesse linked, and then cross what we have seen and what we would like to see next! Personally, I am curious about “butte”. Never hear about it, but seems quite amazing.
